SuperNintendoreMouse88
A converter for Super NES mouse/controller to C64 and Amiga
Works with the original SNS-016 mouse, standard SNS(P)-005 controller and other compatibles.

Controller mode is a custom reimplemation based off on this:
http://www.raphnet.net/electronique/snes_to_db9/index_en.php
Read that page for basic usage.
However, two differences are there:
- The C64/Amiga switch defines the polarity of the 2nd Firebutton (active-HIGH for C64)
- The Speed switch defines which on which Pot output is the 2nd Firebutton (X on 1x/HIGH, Y on 2x/LOW)

On Reset/Power up:
Holding left button down enables Joystick mouse (C1350 mode, ignored in Amiga mode)
Holding right button down enables extra speed boost (the switch for 1x/2x becomes 2x/4x)
The Amiga/C64 mode input is read once, however in controller mode it will be read all the time (defines Pot output polarity)

PINOUT PIC:
1 - FireBtn
2 - UpBtn
3 - DownBtn
4 - /MCLR*
5 - GND
6 - PotX-Sense****
7 - PotX****
8 - PotY****
9 - /DoubleSpd***

10 - SNES-Strobe
11 - SNES-Clock
12 - SNES-Data
13 - /Amiga_mode**
14 - 5V
15 - XTAL
16 - XTAL
17 - RightBtn
18 - LeftBtn

* Typical /MCLR circuit (I used 100nF to GND, 4,7Kohm to 5V) with additonal reset button (to GND)
** Sampled at reset to define mouse mode and in controller mode it takes effect at any time
*** Takes effect at any time
**** Important handling for Pot lines:
The Sense pin is directly connected to detect the SID sample cycle. (Lines are pulled LOW to discharge the capacitor)
Both output pins are connected via 4,7Kohm for the C64.
Also for a additional Amiga support require 2 PNP transistors (I've used 2N3906) with resistors:
- Collector goes to ground
- Emitter goes to the D-Sub9 pin
- Base goes via 1Kohm to the PIC pin
If you don't need Amiga support then you can omit the transistors.
If you don't need C64 support then you can directly connect the PIC to the D-Sub9, also don't forget to connect Amiga_mode to GND.

PINOUT D-SUB9:
1 - UpBtn
2 - DownBtn
3 - LeftBtn
4 - RightBtn
5 - PotY
6 - FireBtn
7 - 5V
8 - GND
9 - PotX
